Warranty

Custom Built pledges to its customers that all materials, workmanship and/or building improvements provided for in the course of their remolding and/or building projects will be free of defects, will be of a specified quality and will perform for no less than a period of one year from the day of commencement of use, substantial completion of project, or date of notice of completion, whichever is the first to occur.

Within 24 to 48 hours of contacting Custom Built of first knowledge of any defect, or failure to operate properly for whatever reason, Custom Built will schedule a day and time to assess problem, fix and/or replace any defective materials that have found to have failed within a reasonable period of time. This warranty does not include any appliances that were purchased by customer but installed by us unless it was an installation issue. All other problems should be directed to the manufacture. This warranty does also not apply to any construction work that has been modified, altered, defaced, and /or hand repairs made/attempts by others.

What is not covered in this warranty:

Under no circumstance shall Custom Built be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damages to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damage or any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the construction defect. Custom Built is not liable for repair conditions caused by chemical or sedimentary build up, misuse or abuse, failure to clean or maintain as specified by the equipment manufacturer, missing parts, structural changes, fire, freezing, electrical failure or surge, water damage, lightening, mud, earthquake, soil movement, sild sediment, storms, accidents, pest damages, or acts of God.

Custom Built is noy liable for repairs related to adequacy or capacity of appliances, components and systems in the home, improper installation, design or previous repairs of appliances, components and systems, problems or failures caused by a manufacture’s defect, or problems caused by alterations or modifications of appliances, components or systems. Custom Built will not perform normal or routine maintenance, and they will not pay for failure that result from the Contract holder’s failure to perform normal or routine maintenance. Custom Built will not repair or replace any covered system or appliance if they are inoperable as result of pre-existing conditions.

Custom Built in not responsible for upgrades or additional cost or expenses that may be required to meet current building or zoning code requirements or correct code violations.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
